Spanish Speak Nurse - LVN BioLife Plasma Services - Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse)

As a Spanish speaking nurse, you will support plasma center operations by determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and ensuring donor safety and quality across all interactions.

Responsibilities

Determine donor eligibility; manage informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).

Evaluate donor reactions, follow SOPs for medical emergencies, and coordinate donor transport to emergency care.

Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical issues.

Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.

Manage employee incidents and determine if further evaluation by occupational health/ER is required; follow EHS guidance.

Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations of local community threats.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; or graduate equivalent of a recognized licensed nursing program with state requirements.

Current licensed or certified LPN/LVN in the state of assignment.

Current CPR and AED certification.

State requirements for basic IV therapy.

Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Location USA – TX – Houston – FM

Hourly Wage Range $23.85 – $32.79
