Maintenance Repairman 2 – 2 Positions – Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking two Maintenance Repairman 2 professionals for the PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center. This dynamic role involves maintaining the on‑site and off‑site facilities to ensure safe, efficient operations for events ranging from meetings to banquets, especially during vendor‑controlled events and routine maintenance tasks.
The position is full‑time, with an 80‑hour bi‑weekly schedule. Available shifts include:
Thursday – Monday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
Thursday – Monday, 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Thursday – Monday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
No telework is available. Salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases. Further communication will be sent by email.
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
Two years as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth title or equivalent federal title); or
Four years in building and plant maintenance involving at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Special and Additional Requirements
Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver’s License.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience working around animals, livestock, and large‑scale public events.
