Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech‑Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within a K‑12 public school setting in West Columbia, SC. The position is full‑time and contract‑based for the upcoming school year, serving students from early elementary through intermediate grade levels. There are currently three openings available : two roles focused on elementary students and one focused on intermediate students.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to measure student growth and adapt interventions as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans
Preferred Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
Experience working with children in K‑12 educational settings, particularly elementary and intermediate grades
Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders and evidence‑based therapy techniques
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators and families
Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed, timely documentation
Location West Columbia / Lexington, South Carolina
