Job Overview Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. The position is full‑time 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour night shift (7 p‑7 a). Travel and per diem opportunities are available. The gross weekly rate is $2,520.
Responsibilities
Float throughout the hospital and across multiple locations and regions.
Assess patient condition, identify outcomes, develop and implement care plans, evaluate results.
Act independently and appropriately within license scope and experience.
Retain accountability for delegation, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices.
Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
Minimum 18 months recent clinical experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or PCU.
Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in other specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
Required credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC). BLS, ACLS, and PALS obtained via American Heart Association.
