What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any unusual activity according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the retail environment.
Interact with employees, visitors, and customers professionally while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Operate assigned equipment, including radios and access control devices, as required for the post.
Complete incident reports and other documentation as required by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Have 5 or more years of security‑related experience.
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
