Base pay range $35.31/hr - $35.31/hr
Job Description
Provide one‑on‑one or group support to students in English, Literature, and ESL courses.
Assist students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic assignments.
Demonstrate academic best practices for specific subjects and assignments, including research and writing.
Help students understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom.
Provide students with positive and constructive feedback.
Build meaningful connections with students from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Communications, Literature, Education or a related area (required).
Master’s degree preferred.
1+ years of tutoring experience preferred.
Available Tuesday and Friday 9am to 5pm in-person.
Ability to work independently.
Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
Additional Information
Hourly Rate: $35.31 (part‑time, non‑benefited)
Hours: Up to 18.5 hours per week
Effective Date: Open Until Filled
