Residential Care Associate I

to join our team. The Residential Care Associate I will provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients, help develop appropriate daily living skills, and support independent activities of daily living to increase or maintain functioning. Responsibilities include meal preparation, clean-up, food purchasing, medication administration under RN guidance, transportation to and from programs, and documentation of services in compliance with productivity standards. This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit. Wages, benefits, and working conditions are set according to the collective bargaining agreement. Training Program

With our MHACBO-accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while attending paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision, gaining on-the-job experience. Work Schedule

Day, swing, and night shifts available up to Full Time (to be determined in interview). What You’ll Make

$20.60 - $21.86 per hour

DOE/Credentials. An additional $3.00 per hour night shift differential applies during 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. An additional 5% language differential is offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates. What You’ll Need

Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) preferred A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs) Valid driver’s license (must provide within 30 days of hire if not already issued) and safe driving record Successful completion of a DHS criminal background check Physical ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds; occasional use of ladders, squat/kneel; ability to complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings, which may involve lifting and transferring clients Additional Information

Per OAR 309-035-0135, direct care staff must be 18 or older at the time of hire. Residential Treatment Homes, Residential Treatment Facilities and Secure Residential Treatment Facilities located in Eugene, Springfield, and Junction City, Oregon.
