PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the global energy industry to hire multiple Project Managers (Lead Project Engineers) who will play a critical role in delivering cleaner, more efficient power solutions across the Americas.
This is a hybrid role offering hands‑on technical leadership, customer collaboration, and the opportunity to influence major technical and financial outcomes on high‑visibility energy projects.
Role Summary & Impact As a Lead Project Engineer / Project Manager, you will serve as the technical authority and customer-facing liaison for assigned projects. Your work will directly impact project execution, customer satisfaction, cost, schedule, and the successful delivery of advanced energy technologies. You’ll collaborate across engineering, procurement, construction, and global supply chain teams to ensure contract compliance and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)
Act as the single point of contact for all customer technical inquiries, change requests, and communications.
Provide technical project management, direction, and coordination for assigned projects.
Serve as the technical liaison between customers, EPC partners, and internal teams.
Lead Customer Kick-Off Meetings (CKOMs) and Design Liaison Meetings (DLMs).
Review contract documentation and communicate requirements across engineering functions.
Evaluate scope changes, cost, and schedule impacts through Cost & Cycle Estimates (CCEs).
Drive lessons learned back into engineering teams to prevent repeat issues.
Manage engineering budgets and provide quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs).
Mitigate risks, resolve cross-functional technical issues, and prevent schedule delays.
Present project risks, resolutions, and action plans to senior leadership.
Support manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, and field teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Willingness to travel 10–15% as required.
Preferred Qualifications (What Will Make You Stand Out)
Customer-facing project experience.
Experience with GTCC Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Knowledge of plant system design, manufacturing, assembly, installation, or testing.

Pay Details:
$69.41 per hour
