Location and Project Saiia Construction will support a multi‑year project near Joseph City, Arizona. This project safeguards public health and supports the transition to cleaner energy sources.
Responsibilities
Supervises personnel and equipment required for project(s). Plan work schedule, manpower levels, material/equipment quantities.
Work with the Project Manager and other managers to ensure the long‑term success of the site location and project.
Responsible for adherence to operating standards and the management of labor hours and expenses.
Responsible for quality control of the design requirements of projects, including drawings and specifications.
Prepare all necessary reports, documenting hours worked, equipment used, materials used, production, etc. Coordinates with the manager to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule, including proper completion of time/quantity sheets by phase of work that agrees with work items bid by the Department. Also maintains daily log of all activities that take place at jobsite.
Operate company truck at jobsite to travel across the jobsite checking on equipment, employees and processes.
Maintain liaison with other departments (Project Management, Operations Groups, Accounting, Transportation, Human Resources, etc.) to ensure all required equipment, materials, inspections, employee issues, and project schedule.
Execute job in accordance with budget, to include having thorough knowledge of and specifications; executing change orders, material usage, and use of pre‑determined vendors.
Assist in daily procurement of equipment repair/maintenance.
Effectively present facts and respond to questions a client may have in a professional manner.
Ensure customer satisfaction with existing project and identify new business opportunities.
Maintain an effective loss control and safety program.
Ensure all established safety rules, procedures, policies, OSHA and MSHA regulations are followed.
Manage the operation to achieve zero accident rates for the jobsite.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 1 year in a construction environment and 1 year of supervisory experience.
Must have and maintain a valid state issued Driver’s License with a driving record that meets Saiia’s risk management guidelines.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, compute dimensions and quantities.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective interpersonal communication across various levels of the organization and with external customers and vendors.
Ability to plan for and execute planned improvements and action items.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Strong leadership, coaching and motivational skills.
Ability to develop materials and make presentations.
Approach and complete work in a meticulous, thorough and timely manner.
Knowledge and experience using computers, tablets and smartphones and software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and timekeeping software.
Ability to maintain normal attendance standards per the employee handbook guidelines.
Knowledge of EPA, state EPA, DOT, OSHA, MSHA and other related regulations.
Exposure to extreme temperatures in the field – hot and cold.
May be exposed to chemicals, refuse, dirt in trucks, as well as landfill, industrial and civil – powerplant site locations.
Moderate noise levels.
Other risks associated with working around heavy machines, tools and trucks.
