Department & Purpose
Support LADD’s mission to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live, work, and connect.
Engaging directly with developmentally disabled adults and their families based on their specific needs.

Summary The Intake & Assessment Coordinator works under the direction of the Community Engagement Manager, providing service recommendations for persons experiencing intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The coordinator assesses needs, and makes service recommendations, working closely with program participants, guardians, and families.
Essential Functions
Administer needs assessments and provide service recommendations for program candidates.
Coordinate program tours, open houses and engagement opportunities for program candidates.
Maintain regular communication with program candidates, guardians and County Board Service and Support Administrators and Case Managers.
Maintain and update the program waitlist under the guidance of the Community Engagement Manager.
Aid in coordinating parent activities and assist in planning and executing family meetings and events.
Support community outreach by attending, tabling, and presenting at events, transition fairs, and conferences.
Model The LADD Way (TLW) and uphold a positive representation of LADD in the community.
Additional Responsibilities
Attend relevant seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay informed on rules and regulations.
Support special projects as needed.
Education, Skills & Experience
High School diploma or equivalency. Associate’s degree preferred.
At least one year of experience in customer service related to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
At least one year of experience working with Hamilton County DDS for services coordination.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work well with diverse individuals and maintain a welcoming attitude.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Primarily office‑based work with some travel to remote sites.
Flexible schedule, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends required.
Must be able to navigate different work environments and be comfortable traveling to multiple locations.
