Job Summary A member of the Maintenance Department responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support for plant facilities and equipment. This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position.
Compensation & Incentives Competitive wages based on experience. Additional paid relief days, $1,000 sign‑on bonus, and eligibility for other incentives.
Responsibilities
Installing, repairing and maintaining industrial buildings and machinery.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
Possibly fabricating parts and assemblies.
Welding, brazing and cutting (shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, oxy‑fuel).
General plant maintenance.
Perform department duties as needed.
Required Skills & Abilities
Basic math skills.
Attention to detail.
Basic problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work any shift.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
Capable of lifting and handling 50 lbs.
Exposed to seasonal temperature changes.
Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous mechanical or construction experience a plus.
Welding skills a plus.
Millwright apprenticeship program required.
Machining background required.
Fabrication experience required.
