is currently hiring a 3rd shift
Milling Operator
for our operation in Lima, Ohio. The Milling Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a milling machine to mill our forged rolls to customer specifications.
Competitive starting wage is $22.20 per hour, benefit/insurance package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, PTO, Vacation, Paid Relief Days, $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS, and this position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate mills and controller
Milling rolls to customer blueprint specification
Inspect milled dimension(s) to customer blueprint
Reporting all deviations from customer blueprint specifications
Perform other department duties, as assigned
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous milling experience required
Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
Strong math skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Previous CNC machining experience preferred
Must be able to work any shift
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
Classification : Hourly
