Job Duties
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Deliver product by car and then to the customer’s door. Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate all equipment.
Prepare product.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a safe‑driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Must pass a background check and have open availability.
Orientation and training will be provided on the job.
Essential Functions & Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Make correct monetary change; verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers; rapid and accurate movements with speed.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Maintain cost controls.
Navigate a map and find addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other sites while carrying product.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks; in‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+ in some areas. Sudden temperature changes may occur. Fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (walk‑in cooler), hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher, and sharp edges/mechanical parts. Tasks include standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching upward and downward, and eye‑hand coordination activities.
