The Supply Chain Operations Lead assists the Supply Chain supervisor or leader in maintaining the operations of the warehouse and storeroom by acting as a lead liaison/point of contact during assigned shifts. The role includes providing direction to and overseeing performance of Supply Chain Technicians, performing individual warehouse and storeroom responsibilities, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and staff activities to achieve departmental goals during assigned shifts. Identify excess inventory, process returns and credits, and notify the supervisor of outdated or slow‑moving items. Coordinate the distribution of materials and supplies to ensure safe and timely delivery to designated locations. Provide support and oversight for onboarding and training of new staff members. Manage replenishment and ordering for the warehouse and storeroom. Assist with supply availability during backorders or substitutions, ensuring timely product availability. Maintain equipment and vehicles to ensure safe operations. Create and update order guides, par locations, organization, and labeling systems to support efficient inventory processes. Work with corporate on item add/activations, contract issues, and item integrity. Oversee conversions, updating order guides, SOPs, and preference cards accordingly. Drive Supply Chain strategies across the department and hospital locations. Maintain accurate par locations and perform periodic par evaluations and adjustments. Follow procedures for accurate receiving, delivery, and reconciliation of shipments. Participate in put‑away and validation processes, issue and credit materials in the inventory management system. Develop and maintain relationships with clinical leaders and teams. Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups to demonstrate service. Generate inventory and specialty reports as needed. Process and log all system updates related to product additions or modifications. Perform regular cycle counts and conduct random audits and quality assurance checks. Participate in daily and weekly rounding with various departments. Present a professional image in dress and communications. Support annual or bi‑annual inventory counts to determine asset values and additional inventory. Maintain punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and federal, state, and local standards. Ensure compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Perform all other duties as assigned or requested. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, sharing knowledge and acting as a liaison for nursing departments. Execute operational and automated procedures, including order processing, requisitioning, receiving, report production, charging, and crediting supplies. Collaborate with other department leaders to close operational gaps. Operate department owned vehicles and supply chain equipment as needed. Qualifications

Education/Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid driver’s license Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Experience with heavy equipment (forklift, pallet jack, dock equipment) preferred Ability to act independently and review information to take action Demonstrates initiative, dependability, and flexibility in a fast‑paced environment Associate’s degree may substitute up to two (2) years of required experience Bachelor’s degree may substitute up to four (4) years of required experience Licensure/Certification:

None. Experience: Six (6) years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or customer service – required. Familiarity with automated supply chain inventory management systems.
