Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team and support our HR functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of human resources activities, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with HR policies. This role is vital in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that our HR practices align with the organisations goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage employee relations and address employee inquiries and concerns
Oversee performance management processes and assist in the development of performance improvement plans
Design and implement training and development programs for employees
Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations
Administer benefits programs and provide support to employees regarding benefits-related inquiries
Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate disputes within the organization
Support organizational development initiatives to enhance workforce effectiveness
Maintain and update the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) with employee data
Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery
Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a HR Generalist role or similar position
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution
Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll processing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus
