We are an Icelandic family living in Germany now for almost 3 years. We live in a small town named Cuxhaven by the sea. The dad(42) of the family works as a manager with a committed job. He also does university courses online and endures long work hours. The mom(44) in the house works 2 days per week and also does university courses online as well as other projects. We have 4 kids but dont panick, our oldest(19) lives in Iceland with his grandparents and girlfriend while he finishes school. Our second oldest(13) is a girl who attends school and is learning the basics of life. She would love some assistance with homework as she struggles with language for the homework at times. She is a shy but a very clever girl. Our third(8) girl is the boss baby in the house and somehow manages to make everything evolve around her. She is a funny character. She would love to be picked up from school and have some help with homework and also some fun activities at home. Our youngest(7) is a mama's boy, very sweet and can easily melt everyone. Ohh lets not forget to mention our small German shepherd Derrick. We are seeking assistance with our busy household and hopefully have someone who is a part of our family. We love to travel and try to when opportunities allow to travel around Europe. We look forward to hear from you and tell you more about us and learn more about you. We have previous experiences with au pair. We had 3 different au pairs for our kids when we lived in Iceland and each one of them became a part of our growing family. This time things are different. The kids are older but we love in a foreign country. If you are interested in coming to be a part of our family be aware that we have household chores as an important part of the agreement. Responsibilities

Assist with getting the kids ready for and to school (a few minutes away).

Attend to household chores: cleaning, putting things in the correct place, laundry, beds, vacuuming, mopping, ensuring the kitchen is in order, bathroom cleaning, etc.

Pick up the two younger children from school around 13:00 (by bike, car or foot).

Walk Derrick, our German shepherd. (We take turns).

Help the children’s homework and activities in the afternoon.

Help with errands such as groceries or other tasks.

Cook meals for us on weekdays.
