Experience:
5 to 10 years of experience and proven success in a residential maintenance position for luxury homes or condos.
Skills:
HVAC, plumbing, drywall, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and painting repairs.
Job Description
Perform general maintenance and minor repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
Maintain exterior and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and visual appeal.
Inspect homes, cottages, and villas prior to guest arrivals and following departures.
Complete pre-arrival and post-departure checklists accurately and on time.
Respond promptly and professionally to member and guest service requests.
Secure properties upon guest departure and report emergency or safety concerns to management.
Assist with preventative maintenance programs and documentation.
Maintain a safe, organized, and orderly work environment.
Support residential services and HOA teams as directed.
Position Requirements
Service-oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to remain calm and focused during busy periods.
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands including standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and working indoors and outdoors.
Demonstrates respect for Hawaiian values, culture, and community.
Prolonged standing, walking, and movement (4+ hours).
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments.
