Job Description We are looking for a Production Operator to join our team in Hrádek nad Nisou. The role involves operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring quality and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
Operate production machines (cutting, gluing, conveyor, vision, packaging) to meet specification, yield, and OEE goals
Prep, load, and set parameters for raw materials; splice material when required
Read, monitor, and respond to machines using PLC/HMI interfaces
Install, validate parts during equipment set‑up and changeovers; use hand tools and measuring instruments
Follow all procedures; maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform quality inspections and basic preventive maintenance; detect and troubleshoot deviations
Report product defects and questionable conditions; apply Lean manufacturing concepts and GMP compliance
Communicate status of machine operations to crew at shift change; effectively use communication skills
Enter work requests; assist with physical inventory
Work overtime or shift as required; operate under direct supervision
Train new machine operators
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; minimum 1 year manufacturing experience; at least 2 years consecutive employment with one employer
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Ability to read and interpret work documents, production related documents, and basic math
Adaptability to frequent changes and ability to work in teams; proficiency in learning ERP systems
