What will you do?

Shipping and Receiving team members are responsible for loading and unloading materials and process shipments for internal and external customer.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all incoming freight, receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slip to purchase order to verify the accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.

Inspect all incoming RMA (return to manufacturer) cylinders and complete the inspection sheet.

Prepare all cylinders for outgoing shipment and interpret the BOL that was created (bill of lading).

Safely operates forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport product

Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Previous experience in shipping/receiving or working with LTL carriers preferred

Must be able to obtain Hazmat Certification and EPA 608 Certification within 6 months of being hired

Fork Lift Certification License

Material Handling equipment familiarity

Able to use Microsoft word and excel or equivalent

Familiar with the UPS/Fed Ex shipping portal

Valid class A driver's license preferred

Physical Demand Requirements

Must be able to drive a forklift safely

Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
