About the Position We are expanding our team and looking for a highly skilled Apparel Technical Fit Designer / Fit Technician to support our growing junior, missy, plus, and sleepwear divisions. The ideal candidate has a sharp technical eye, strong fit expertise, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.

This role is 5 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities

Lead fit sessions on live models and dress forms

Evaluate garment fit, balance, and proportion across all categories

Create and communicate clear, accurate fit comments to overseas factories

Collaborate with patternmakers and technical design to resolve fit issues

Review and measure samples (SMS, PP, TOP) for consistency and accuracy

Ensure garments meet brand specs, measurements, and construction standards

Track fit approvals and maintain sample records

Work closely with merch, design, and production teams to meet deadlines

Able to work independently, be a team player, and take full ownership of tasks

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of apparel fit, garment construction, and fabric properties, with a focus on knits and soft goods preferred

Experience working with multiple factories and managing production timelines

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Apparel, Textiles, or a related field

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Skilled in sewing techniques and understanding garment construction

Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities

Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change

Salary The anticipated base salary is $70k-$90k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
