Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field and 3 years of relevant experience Seven years of increasingly responsible full‑time licensing or sales experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience Three years as a Licensing Manager Overview
Under general direction, acts as the Assistant Director of the Licensing division for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. Responsible for managing the wholesale of hunting and fishing licensing systems, supervising licensing staff, and serving as a liaison between third‑party licensing solution vendors and the agency. Also oversees all REAL system components, including quota hunt programs, license agent programs, reporting, game check processes, license issuances, boat registrations and renewals. Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation of the Agency’s REAL system, communicating with vendors, agency staff, and the public; create and revoke user accounts; monitor weekly Automatic Clearing House sweeps. Collaborate with the Licensing Director to develop long‑range goals for the division; analyze system and workflow for potential improvements; develop plans for increased functionality of the system; analyze licensing trends and devise public license purchase strategies. Ensure all financial transactions are completed accurately each week; maintain inventory accurately and efficiently; ensure the integrity of Quota Hunt data, financial transactions, and supporting documentation. Conduct audits of REAL system users to ensure access is correctly assigned in accordance with agency and state rules and policies. Troubleshoot REAL system issues and improvement needs; manage change tickets to ensure timely resolution. Competencies (KSA's)
