We are looking to hire a passionate individual to join our team as a Clinician. Devereux’s Mobile Response Team operates 24/7/365 and serves individuals ages 0-24 in the Central Florida area. Mobile Crisis Services Clinicians provide immediate crisis intervention counseling with an assessment of the families need/functioning in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties. The intervention will include stabilizing the situation through communication skills, parenting skills, relationship building, behavioral techniques, grief counseling, interviewing of family members, safety planning, etc. Based on the clinician’s assessment, individualized referral recommendations will be provided to assist families with the identified need. Services provided under this program will include crisis assessment, crisis response, crisis stabilization, and short-term interventions including psychotherapy, referral, and connection to service providers. The Mobile Crisis Services Clinicians work to empower the family, working in tandem to generate solutions, and develop strategies that help establish realistic goals. Responsibilities
Conducting crisis intervention and safety planning to assist the client in overcoming the difficulties that led to the crisis and conducting ongoing assessment of need. Collaborating with other service providers in the community to help establish needed services for the individual and the family. Providing education to the individual’s family and significant others regarding mental illness and how to support the individual. Providing flexible therapeutic and follow-up services with an interactive approach, and documenting therapeutic interventions in the client’s records in a timely manner. Working independently as well as in a team setting during the treatment process. Ensuring provision and coordination of services and appropriate discharge planning for all clients. Position Details
Salary: Starts at $56,000–$63,840 annually (non-licensed) and $59,000–$67,260 annually (licensed). (Rate is based on education and relevant experience.) Location: Orlando, FL. Benefits and Rewards

Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology (required). Two years’ experience working directly with children and families. Preferred experience with children who are victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or youth who have been adjudicated delinquent or are emotionally disturbed. Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license. This position is not office‑based but includes travel to community settings in Central Florida. Must live in Orange, Osceola, or Seminole county to respond to crisis calls within the required time frame. Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings, including drug test and TB test.
