Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable
Substitute Teacher
to join our team. In this role, you will carry out lesson plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher and ensure a positive, productive learning environment aligned with the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver instruction according to prepared lesson plans.
Maintain classroom order and create an environment conducive to effective learning.
Take necessary precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilities.
Provide timely feedback to the classroom teacher.
Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and board policies.
Collaborate with school personnel and maintain positive relationships with students and staff.
Assist with clerical office tasks as needed.
Report to the principal or designee at the start and end of each school day.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years working in a school setting.
Experience with students with learning disabilities preferred.
Skills & Attributes
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to adapt to different grade levels and subjects.
