What You'll Do As a Business Office Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:
Patient Check‑In/Check‑Out : Greet patients, manage appointments, and ensure accurate registration
Insurance & Payments : Verify insurance coverage, collect co‑pays, post payments, and prepare daily deposit reports
Chart Management : Review charts for accuracy and completeness, prepare for next‑day services
Cash Handling : Create and balance cashier reports, ensure accuracy in daily reconciliation
Team Support : Assist clinical staff and help maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office
Brings professionalism and empathy to every patient interaction
Can multitask without missing the details
Thrives in a team but works independently when needed
Keeps calm and collected in a fast‑paced medical office
What You’ll Need
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in a medical office setting
Working knowledge of Epic (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion
Ability to
multitask
and remain flexible throughout the day
