Job Description Summary As a Management Trainee, you will gain hands‑on experience during our training encompassing all aspects of Sunbelt Rentals operations. You will be trained on our product and service offerings and the resources that equip our team for success. The program blends classroom and online training, job shadowing, and hands‑on activities as you rotate throughout the business. Successful completion positions you for an exciting and lucrative career in operational management.
Position Responsibilities
Gain hands‑on experience through a rotation in operational support with our equipment rental specialists, shop and transportation teams, sales representatives, and leadership.
Develop job knowledge by participating in educational improvement opportunities, maintaining networks with other trainees, and learning our product offerings.
Visit various locations within the district/region and train under several different mentors.
Complete assignments online to progress through the program.
Shadow each team member to gain exposure to all facets of the business.
Requirements
2+ years’ experience with Sunbelt required.
Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of related work experience.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record.
Strong oral and written communication skills; solid negotiation and influencing skills a plus.
Excellent computer skills.
Great attitude and motivation to exceed expectations.
High level of accountability, time management, and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
Must be open to relocation upon successful completion of the program.
Physical Demands Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more as required. Some Sunbelt jobs may require long periods of driving, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions—including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures—and night or weekend work.
All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA.
Base Pay Range $24.04 - $36.26 per hour
