Job Description Summary As a Management Trainee, you will gain hands‑on experience during a training program that covers all aspects of Sunbelt Rentals operations. You will rotate through various business functions, receiving classroom and online instruction, job shadowing, and practical activities to prepare you for a career in operational management.
Position Responsibilities
Gain hands‑on experience through a rotation in operational support with our equipment rental specialists, shop and transportation teams, sales representatives, and leadership.
Develop job knowledge by participating in educational improvement opportunities, maintaining networks with other trainees, and learning about our product offerings.
Visit various locations within the district/region and train under several different mentors.
Complete assignments online to progress through the program.
Shadow each team member to gain exposure to all facets of the business.
Requirements
2+ years' experience with Sunbelt required.
Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of related work experience.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record.
Strong oral and written communication skills; solid negotiation and influencing skills a plus.
Excellent computer skills.
Great attitude and motivation to exceed expectations.
High level of accountability, time management, and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
Openness to relocation upon successful completion of the program.
Physical Demands Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds or more. Some positions may require long driving periods, loading/unloading heavy equipment, working in extreme weather, and night/weekend work. All duties must comply with Sunbelt’s safety policies. Reasonable accommodations are available under ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range $24.04 - $36.26 per hour (starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience).
