The Warehouse Worker II position will be responsible for executing the directives of the warehouse department at Philadelphia, PA, by loading and unloading trucks, overseeing shipping / receiving and delivering parts to appropriate departments. Responsibilities
Using stand up and sit down forklift, as well as hand jacks to load / unload trucks, transport pallet / skids to Pier 98 Perform scheduled inspection of forklift per inspection sheet / maintain operation log Delivering packages and parts received to the appropriate person or department Inspect and review rejected parts from VPC / Heavy Departments Store and track GM parts / materials Stocking throw-in line with PIO parts as needed Shipping / Receiving / Inventory Parts Shipping, preparing shipments of PIO / Warranty / Body Shop / Campaign parts Receiving, comparing parts received to Packing list and communicating any and all discrepancies Communicate any inventory issues with Customer Service Maintains a separate log of all PIO parts received Receive replacement parts for defectives that are missing components and restores them to like-new condition Other duties as assigned Daily walk around warehouse – list issues (ie: bent racks, lights out, loose racks, etc) and email report to Warehouse Supervisor Work in throw-in department to distribute accessory parts when needed Skills
Forklift Certified Must be willing and able to cross‑train in other departmental needs Requires flexibility with schedule including break times as well as working extended hours, weekends, and holidays Ability to read and write in English Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length Must be able to follow instructions Must have demonstrated mechanical abilities Must have a general knowledge of automobile components Education & Experience
High School / GED preferred 1 year of experience preferred Physical Requirements
Drive Lift up to 50 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push / pull Bend / stoop Kneel Squat / crouch Stand Working and Environmental Conditions
