Walmart is opening its third owned and operated milk processing facility in Robinson, Texas, scheduled to begin operations in 2026. The facility will process and bottle various milk options for Walmart's Great Value and Sam's Club's Member's Mark brands, serving more than 750 stores in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. The position starts at $22.30/hr, with eligibility for a $1.50 weekend differential, a $0.50 pay increase every six months for up to two years, and a $1.50 weekend differential for Saturday-Monday shifts. What You'll Do
Maintain quality and food safety standards by monitoring testing, recording, and reacting on data related to products, production, and processes. Verify raw materials and finished products comply with federal, state, and company specifications. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and customers to identify priorities and meet deadlines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, conduct statistical process control, and root cause analysis. Maintain knowledge of laboratory functions, operations, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and cross-training within the Food Safety QA department. Apply integrity and ethics, including the Open Door Policy and Walmart values. Support a culture of belonging, communication, mentorship, and service to customers and members. Minimum Qualifications
2 years’ experience in clerical responsibilities such as filing, data entry, and computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office). Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Science, Agriculture, or related field. Experience in raw milk sample testing, bottled milk testing, pre-operations inspections, and swabbing. Location
