Responsibilities
• Litigation defense and advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and wage law matters.
• Traditional labor experience dealing with NLRB issues, collective bargaining, and grievance/arbitration.
• Experience taking depositions, arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial.
• Significant client contact, team collaboration, and handling all aspects of complex employment cases for regional and national clients of all sizes.
• Managing case strategies, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
• 2–5 years of labor and employment experience.
• Strong academic background, excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel in and out of state.
• Florida license to practice is required.
