Electronics Technician Assembler (PLTX)
Bowhead is seeking an Electronics Technician Assembler to join our team in Plano, TX. Under supervision, the Electronics Technician Assembler will lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic development and production equipment, parts, components, and systems according to engineering instructions.
Plano, TX $60,000.00 - $120,000.00
Responsibilities
Assist in keeping the plant and warehouse clean, organized and safe and assist with any special projects as assigned.
Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic development and production equipment, parts, components, and systems according to engineering instructions.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (required)
1-3 years of electro‑mechanical assembly (preferred)
Soldering experience (desired)
Experience in a warehouse environment (helpful)
Basic to intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
Can work alone or as part of a team
Certification not required but helpful (J-STD-001 or IPC/WHMA‑A‑620)
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
Security Clearance Requirements There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
