Raw Material Handler - Cushion (100% On-Site in Pelham, AL)

Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Job Summary Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner and assist with the timely fulfillment and product delivery.
Principal Responsibilities
Receive raw materials upon arrival and stock warehouse once system transactions are completed.
Stock production work cells with glass and/or raw materials to produce products for sale to customers.
Operate Forklift to move materials to component racks.
Practice all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
Perform SAP transactions in support of receiving material and movements to work cell.
Support Shipping Department by loading and unloading trucks when needed.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Support any other function.
Required to support FIFO when stocking component racks, or production work cells.
Must maintain a clean safety record.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent and basic math, reading, and reading comprehension skills.
Valid Driver’s License.
3 years of forklift experience is preferred.
Good safety record.
Good attendance record.
Skills And Qualifications
Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
Possess good problem solving and reasoning skills.
Demonstrated know-how on all paperwork.
Passes drug screening and background check.Practice continuous improvement.
Adaptable to the changing daily production requirements.
Practice all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
