Job Responsibilities
Conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to safety, environmental, and contamination control policies and wearing proper PPE.
Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes.
Maintain necessary tools for diagnosing, disassembling, and assembling components to manufacturer specifications.
Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company‑owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
Work in a neat and orderly fashion, continuously improving methods, area organization, and safety standards.
Inspect components to maximize part reuse for cost control; complete required documentation via appropriate software and account for repair times.
Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and inform supervisor of any cost overruns before job completion.
Approach work positively, maintain supportive conduct toward the team, set standards for others, and train/mentor others in the department.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
3–4 years of relevant experience as a field service technician.
Valid driver’s license.
Proficient in computer use (Microsoft Office, dealer software).
Completion of all required training curriculum for Service Field Tech II designation.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and dealer software.
Prior generator service experience.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Requires occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, and repetitive motion.
May lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. and over 50 lbs. on occasion.
Work scheduled during regular business hours with frequent night, holiday, and weekend requirements.
