Summary Provides general Medical Assistant and/or Medical Secretary assistance to Medical Oncology providers and Infusion as needed in an outpatient setting within the hospital or at a hub site. The staff member demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the ages of patients served. In addition, the staff member demonstrates competency in applying these principles when providing individualized care to specific patients. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Meditech, Epic, Performance Manager/NetLearning; must read, write, speak English; work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant; communicate tactfully; flexible; personal integrity; team player; follow written and oral instructions.

Other Requirements: May be required to travel to satellite offices

Requirements

Education and Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED; at least one year medical office experience; oncology clinic experience preferred.
