Since its founding by 10 physicians in 1949, we have grown and evolved to meet the needs of Boulder County and beyond. We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.
Summary Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking experienced Medical Assistants and/or medically trained candidates to join our local Resource Team. This benefits‑eligible position offers flexible scheduling options—full‑time (32‑40 hours per week), Monday through Friday. The role is based at our Broadway clinic location at 2750 Broadway St, Boulder, CO 80304.

Day shift schedules.
Experience working with both primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Duties
Perform clinic administrative duties, including answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check‑in/out, and coordinating accurate patient appointments.
Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations.
Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies.
Prepare examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and room is adequately stocked.
Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system.
Required Experience
Must be able to recognize and identify patient’s symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.
Education Requirements
Completion of Medical Assistant education. Certification is not required but preferred.
Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active certification is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials (examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials.
College graduates with a completed four‑year bachelor’s degree is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials. College transcripts must reflect completed health science coursework; please submit a copy of your unofficial college transcripts at the time of applying.
Previous Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting, preferred.
Pay Range
$18.91 – $25.21 per hour (full pay range is $18.91 – $28.36).
