About Boulder Medical Center (BMC) BMC is a local, independent, and physician-owned medical group with over 20 primary and specialty care departments, 90 providers, and 325+ clinical and support professionals. Since our founding by 10 physicians in 1949, we have grown to meet the needs of Boulder County and beyond. We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.
Summary BMC is seeking experienced Medical Assistants and/or medically trained candidates to join our local Resource Team. This benefits-eligible position offers flexible scheduling, full-time (32-40 hours per week) Monday through Friday, and is based at our Foothills clinic location at 4745 Arapahoe Ave STE 200, Boulder, CO 80304. The Resource Team is ideal for those who enjoy variety, stepping into multiple care areas, and exploring different clinical services.

Job Duties
Perform clinic administrative duties, including answering incoming calls, verifying patient information, patient check-in/out, and coordinating appointments.
Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations.
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as per protocols and regulations.
Prepare examination rooms, ensure equipment is present, and rooms are adequately stocked.
Document all aspects of the patient encounter in an electronic medical record system.
Required Experience
Ability to recognize and identify patient symptoms and use professional judgment appropriately.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to all four BMC sites as assigned.
Availability by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.
Education & Requirements
Completion of Medical Assistant education. Certification is not required but preferred.
Other completed medical training with proof of active certification and 1+ years of recent field experience (e.g., EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA).
Military medical training and education with supporting documentation.
College graduates with a completed four-year bachelor's degree and health science coursework. Submit unofficial transcripts at application.
Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting preferred.
Salary
$18.91 - $25.21 per hour (Full pay range $18.91 - $28.36).
