We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.
Summary Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking medically trained candidates to join our local Resource team! This position is benefit eligible working part-time 28 hours per week Monday through Friday. Must be available to work a flexible schedule and will work full time during training. NO current students. This position is based at the BMC Foothills location (4745 Arapahoe Ave, Suite 200, Boulder, CO 80304). Below is a list of the different specialties BMC provides outpatient care for at this site location (other site locations will have different specialties represented).

Obstetrics and Gynecology
Otolaryngology - ENT

Day shift schedules.
Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Duties
Perform clinic administrative duties, including but not limited to answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check in/out, and coordinating accurate patient appointments.
Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations.
Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies.
Prepare examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and the room is adequately stocked.
Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system.
Required Experience
Must be able to recognize and identify patient's symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in the course of action.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.
Requirements Education Requirements (one of the following options)
Completion of Medical Assistant education. Certification is not required but preferred.
Other completed medical training and proof of active certification with 1+ years of recent field experience is an acceptable substitution. (Examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials.
College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor’s degree is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials. College transcripts must reflect completed health science coursework. Please submit a copy of your unofficial college transcripts at the time of applying.
Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting, preferred.
Starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience
$18.91 – $25.21/Hour (Full pay range is $18.91 – $28.36)
This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
