The Lead Solutions Analyst, Supply Chain at Carnival Corporation’s Global Supply Chain team is responsible for the efficient operation of Supply Chain applications for Princess Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line, and Holland America Line (most notably Crunchtime).
This role involves training, maintaining product descriptions, user setups, warehouse locations, and ensuring the smooth functioning of Supply Chain applications. Coordination with IT teams, resolving system issues, implementing updates, and providing training to end users when necessary. The Lead Solutions Analyst will work closely with the Global Supply Chain Solutions team, IT, Finance, and North America Supply Chain teams to ensure system support & maintenance, database management and administration, integration development and support, inventory maintenance, reporting, compliance & risk management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and process improvement skills, a proven history of designing, implementing, and supporting software solutions at a global corporation, basic familiarity with writing simple SQL queries in Oracle and SQL Server, demonstrated project management or Agile development experience, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Project, PowerPoint, and proven ability to interface independently and effectively with peers in other departments/brands. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Essential Functions
Solution Ownership, System Leadership & Inventory Governance – Serve as Lead Solutions Analyst and primary SME for Supply Chain applications (notably Crunchtime), providing strategic support and direction across brands. Lead coordination with application vendors, prioritizing issues, escalating risks, and tracking deliverables to ensure platform stability and roadmap alignment. Own and oversee testing and implementation of new releases, upgrades, and enhancements to ensure seamless operations across shipboard and shoreside environments. Direct and coordinate upgrade/maintenance activities with cross‑functional business, IT, and vessel teams. Lead communication and issue governance, ensuring timely resolution of system incidents and defects. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, designing, testing, and implementing process enhancements aligned with compliance and business priorities. Provide oversight of inventory control processes for company‑owned materials across all warehouses and set schedules to govern the posting of inventory transactions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and financial integrity.
Master Data Leadership & System Integration Oversight – Lead administration and governance of application master data across multiple cruise lines, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Oversee and validate product master data, user access, and warehouse location structure to maintain operational readiness and control. Conduct recurring analysis to ensure cross‑system data alignment and proactively remediate data quality issues. Monitor and lead resolution of interface exceptions between the Supply Chain application and Oracle financial systems. Serve as primary liaison between Supply Chain, IT, GFIT, and finance stakeholders to ensure interface reliability, troubleshoot issues, and validate system fixes and enhancements.
Enablement, Knowledge Leadership & Continuous Improvement – Mentor and coach team members on system processes, best practices, and project deliverables. Provide training and functional enablement to system users across fleet and shoreside teams. Lead or support special projects and cross‑functional initiatives as assigned. Champion innovation and optimization, proposing technology enhancements and workflow improvements that drive efficiency and user adoption.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Supply chain knowledge is a plus. Technical certifications are an asset.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as solutions analyst, data analyst, business analyst, or equivalent with a proven track record of driving results in application support, master data management, and strategic planning. Prior data maintenance and supply chain management knowledge preferred. Familiarity with the cruise industry, SOX compliance, and risk management practices is a plus. Proficiency with Crunchtime is preferred.

Scope: Reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing Solutions, responsible for the efficient operation of the Supply Chain application for Princess Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line, and Holland America Line. Involves training, maintaining product descriptions, user setups, warehouse locations, and ensuring smooth application functioning. Coordination with IT teams, financial systems teams, and shipboard and shoreside users across all three fleets, as well as interaction with sister brands.
Problem solving – Determining application deployments and upgrades, developing backup strategies, ensuring business continuity, optimizing performance, deciding integration strategies, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Setting up monitoring tools, configuring alerts, adjusting configurations, conducting audits, and handling day‑to‑day incidents and service requests.
Impact – North America Supply Chain and Global Supply Chain.
Leadership – Minimum 5 years’ experience as solutions analyst, data analyst, business analyst, or equivalent with proven growth to a lead role. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and support independently, and provide guidance to junior staff. No direct reports.
Physical Demands Must remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.
Travel Less than 25% non‑shipboard travel likely.
Work Conditions Work beyond normal business hours or on weekends may be required occasionally to support business needs, projects, or operations. This is an in‑office role with work at a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week, with remote work possible Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
