The Epic Analyst-Pharmacist with a focus in CDS (Clinical Decision Support), Willow, and Beacon applications partners with the application team while working collaboratively with customers to bring cutting‑edge technology and automated solutions to the department. Responsibilities

Implement and maintain EHR systems and databases to ensure optimum performance and exceptional outcomes for employees and patients. Analyze, design, implement, operate, deploy, and support the organization’s IT resources for the application specialty. Interface with all areas of Information Technology Services to ensure project success from development to implementation with the ultimate outcome of customer satisfaction. Assist with design and perform builds that are appropriate for users’ needs, consistent with the overall design of the organization’s information systems architecture. Complete appropriate localized builds for the EHR and pharmacy systems. Perform project management for pharmacy technology initiatives by developing, managing, and driving accountability to meet established goals and deadlines. Develop, implement, maintain, and communicate effective and reliable downtime processes. Participate in cross‑functional projects and provide design information spanning applications. Communicate risks, issues, and status updates effectively. Epic Willow Inpatient Certification and experience preferred. Qualifications

Licensure: Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy and certification in job‑relevant Epic module(s). Successful Epic certification(s) completion required within 60 days of final training. Experience: Three to six years of hospital pharmacy experience; thorough knowledge of inpatient environment and clinic‑based operations, procedures/functions, and their relationships. Demonstrated knowledge of integration of applications and impact on business processes and operations. Innovative forward thinking, ability to meet project deadlines, deliver commitments, high level of energy, professional acumen, client‑service orientation. Knowledge of physician practice/healthcare professional services, billing requirements, hospital administration and/or processes. Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other professional staff when discussing drugs and drug‑related problems. Technical skills: application systems analysis, workflow analysis, build, design, testing, interface knowledge, programming activities. Preferred: Previous Epic experience in training, build, and/or support of the Epic systems electronic health record suite. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree. Preferred education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited academic program. Independent action: Determines and develops approaches to solutions with general input by manager or senior team members. Physical and Other Requirements
