What to Expect Tesla Associate Regional Collision Managers are the leaders of our internal collision centers. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, developing team members, managing day‑to‑day operations, and expanding our field sites to meet the needs of our rapidly growing customer base.
We are looking for high energy, inspirational leaders that are not bound by the norms of the industry. Tesla expects first‑principles thinking and a laser focus on accomplishing objectives no matter the obstacle. A successful candidate will come with a wide range of collision, insurance and OEM experience, be a thought leader that puts the customer first, and have the vision to lead a team through 5x growth over the next 2 years.
This position will be based in any of the following collision centers: Lenexa, KS; Eden Prairie, MN; Denver, CO; Frederick, CO.
What You’ll Do
Deliver excellent results and achieve goals quarterly and monthly across customers, people, operations, strategic direction, and financials.
Provide world‑class customer service, exceeding expectations, monitoring trends, and implementing improvements.
Lead and coach a team, fostering open communication, problem‑solving, and a positive work environment.
Own all aspects of regional performance, championing safety, efficiency, quality, and excellence across multiple locations.
Establish strategy and business plan for growth, evaluate resource needs, develop new locations, and partner with service to build a cohesive network.
Understand business numbers and lead daily operations to achieve quality, productivity, output, cost, and revenue/margin goals.
Act in the best interest of Tesla, with a passion for its mission, products, and people.
What You’ll Bring
Ability to travel up to 60% or more if required (based on region).
Prior leadership experience in a body repair or reconditioning focused industry.
Experience leading teams remotely and managing a diverse group of roles and responsibilities.
Strong operations experience leading field, technical repair or manufacturing teams in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment with customer responsibilities.
Experience developing and operating complex processes using lean or other techniques.
Technical acumen: knowledge of all Tesla products, body repair systems, processes, and procedures.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
