Overview
Clerk NF-02
– U.S. Army MWR, Hunter Auto Skills Center, Hunter Army Airfield, GA. Regular part‑time position, minimum 20 hours per week, eligible for benefits. Incentives will not be paid.
Eligibility Open to U.S. Citizens, Nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S., or U.S. Nationals residing in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Duties
Perform a variety of administrative and clerical functions including typing, computer work, signing customers up for new accounts, receiving payments, and updating customer information.
Open and secure the Auto Shop, schedule appointments, maintain automotive shop schedule, screen phone calls for service requests, and personally handle routine calls.
Process and verify cash flow transactions, deposits, and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports. Set up and maintain office files. Sign up customers for the POV automotive sales lot. Submit Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).
Create automotive repair orders and complete billing using an automated program. Assign automotive repair bays and complete bay rental documents, possibly utilizing a government vehicle.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Conditions of Employment

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for the position.
One‑year probationary period may be required.
Complete an E‑Verify check satisfactorily.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks per AR 215‑3, para. 2, including a Tier 1 background investigation.
Maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Progressively responsible clerical experience.
Computer knowledge in databases, spreadsheets, and word processing programs.
Experience handling monetary transactions.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver’s license.
