Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Patient Representative role in Waterbury, CT. The Patient Representative will manage communication between patients and the healthcare team by providing outstanding customer service, scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, processing records, and addressing inquiries over the phone and in person. The role involves maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality while ensuring patient needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills with the ability to engage with patients empathetically and professionally. Knowledge of Medical Terminology to effectively handle patient information and communicate within healthcare environments. Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and Typing for handling calls and maintaining accurate records efficiently. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate handling of patient information. Familiarity with healthcare systems, insurance processes, and medical office procedures is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in medical administrative tasks are advantageous.
