Responsibilities: Gather and analyze requirements, define system architectures, and develop concept and cost models through customer and team collaboration. Lead design and implementation of precision motion system projects, maintaining traceability across requirements, design, and testing. Create and manage documentation including schematics, BOMs, ECR/ECOs, and test instructions using tools like Altium, AutoCAD, and MATLAB. Drive engineering development following best practices and project processes. Develop analytical models and apply simulation techniques to optimize system behavior. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as CE, UL, RoHS, and REACH. Build and test rapid prototypes to reduce development risks. Conduct tests using controllers and drives from suppliers like Kollmorgen, Elmo, Galil, and PM MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Ideal Candidate: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics required; Master's degree also accepted with relevant experience. Solid grasp of Electronics, Physics, Mechanics, and Electromagnetics fundamentals. Over 5 years of electrical engineering experience with demonstrated success in servo control implementation. Minimum 2 years of LabVIEW programming experience, preferably CLD certified or higher, with expertise in motion controls, drives, and optical encoders. Proven ability to lead test and electrical design phases in precision motion engineering projects. Skilled in engineering mathematical analysis using tools like MathCAD or MATLAB. Comfortable working with code in languages such as C, C++, C#, and Python. Experienced in CAD software (AutoCAD, Altium) for creating electrical documentation, including cable layouts and system schematics. What's On Offer
