Our client is a leading global financial institution that provides advisory, investment banking, financing, corporate banking and capital markets services to corporations, financial institutions, financial sponsors and sovereign and supranational organizations worldwide. Job Description
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure cash entries are posted promptly to the ledger. Prepare journal entries for items such as accrued and prepaid expenses, fixed assets, plus reconcile balance sheet accounts. Manage intercompany billing processes and reconcile intercompany accounts. Review and enter vendor invoices in the accounts payable system, collaborating with department heads to verify transaction details and approvals. Post payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts, coordinating with HR for vendor integration and benefits reconciliation. Provide support to tax preparers and internal/external auditors as needed. Participate in month-end closing and assist with the preparation of financial statements. Generate monthly sales reports and handle commission processing for sales staff. Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. Solid understanding of accounting principles; experience with lease accounting as a lessor is advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred. Experience with Alteryx is a bonus. Strong communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly and effectively. At least 3 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on accounts payable preferred. What's on Offer
