$44.00/ hourly
Job Description: Top Skills/Requirements: · 5 years of experience in a lab environment executing experiments. · Clear and solid understanding of how to apply the scientific method. · Hands on experience with laser systems and mechanical troubleshooting. · Mechanical troubleshooting and understanding of engineering principles is critical.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the design, development, and continuous improvement of laser-based processes and systems. · Execute experimental plans, collect data, and document experimental settings and results. · Interact with internal customers to understand incoming laser processing requests and ensure timely delivery of sample parts. · Support laser system maintenance, including assembly, installation, debugging, and start-up of new laser setups. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date process and safety documentation. · Ensure lab cleanliness, safety, and organization while managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed. · Perform other duties as assigned.
