Role Description This is a full-time,

100%

on-site

Bookkeeper role located in Savage, MD. The Bookkeeper will handle day-to-day financial operations, including preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting software, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include posting journal entries, assisting with the preparation of financial statements, and supporting the finance team with other accounting-related tasks. Attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining effective financial management for the business.

Who You Are

5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a

multi-location and/or multi-entity environment

Strong command of accounting fundamentals (accruals, reconciliations, GL structure)

Experience in

retail, hospitality, food manufacturing, or multi-unit operations

strongly preferred

Advanced user of accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar), payroll, POS, and expense platforms

Highly organized, detail-obsessed, and process-oriented

Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing business with real operational complexity

for accuracy and follow-through

Qualifications

Proficiency in Bookkeeping and working with QuickBooks

Experience in preparing reports and managing AP & AR

Ability to perform accurate Journal Entries and maintain financial records

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Highly responsible and hard working

Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles

Previous experience in a financial or accounting role is highly desirable

Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
