The
Registered Nurse
provides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident’s individual service plan and physician’s orders. The RN is responsible for delivering quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well‑being.
What will I do every day?
Monitor residents’ well‑being in a general way and report any changes in condition
Effectively supervise departmental operations on a day‑to‑day basis
Assess residents to identify their physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs
Communicate, identify, report, and document problems
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
Identify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident
Document evaluation of nursing interventions including resident response
Assess resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen, and/or medication administration and assist with care plans
Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director
Assist with Medication Management Program
Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process
Present required new‑hire training and ongoing skills training for associates
Perform other related duties as required
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Two or more years of nursing experience in a senior care setting preferred
Experience in Skilled Nursing a plus
Experience in wound care
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
Current active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
Graduate of an accredited RN program
