Job Summary
St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator to support our eight‑bed ICU and provide high‑quality patient care. The position offers a relocation bonus of up to $8,000 (subject to exclusions) and an hourly pay range of $31.16 – $47.13. Responsibilities
Actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities, including shift charge and service line oversight.
Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards.
Act as liaison between physicians and the patient‑care team; maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
Supervise staff, authorize work procedures, and assign duties.
Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
Promote the optimal health, well‑being, and safety of patients through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Be personally accountable for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Education Requirements
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or endorsement accepted.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs.
Experience Requirements
One year RN experience.
Specialty nursing skills and knowledge appropriate to the ICU setting.
Licenses/Certification Requirements
Unencumbered KS RN License required; current state nursing license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact acceptable.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
Physical Requirements
Medium work: Ability to exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
Location St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS (population ~30,000). The community offers a small‑town lifestyle with parks, a zoo, golf courses, and modern shopping.
