Role Description This part-time, on-site role is based in Sewell, NJ. The Child and Adolescent Therapist will provide therapeutic support to children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, maintaining case records, and collaborating with families, schools, and other professionals. The role will also involve using play therapy techniques to engage younger clients effectively.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Play Therapy techniques to support child clients in a developmentally appropriate manner
Background in Social Work, including the ability to provide emotional support and resources to clients
Experience and skills in Working With Children and adolescents in therapeutic or supportive contexts
In-depth understanding of Mental Health needs and intervention strategies for youth
Skill in Case Management, including coordinating care and collaborating with families and external organizations
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Active licensure in the state of New Jersey (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LSW, or equivalent)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
