Contract, Comprehensive School Year (CSY)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver speech-language pathology therapy services to students across assigned campuses, including Dan McCarty Middle School, Forest Grove Middle School, Oak Hammock K‑8, and Private School Evaluation Team.

Manage caseloads independently; some days require sole SLP coverage on campus with specialized units such as InD and DHH clusters.

Conduct evaluations at district office to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in need.

Collaborate with school staff, parents, and specialists to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress in compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications

Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure required.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred, especially for evaluation duties.

Experience levels from entry to advanced welcomed; salary range reflects experience from $34 to $46 per hour.

Ability to work independently and provide quality care in diverse school settings.

Flexibility to work varying schedules day‑to‑day as assignments require.
