Responsibilities
Ensure a zero-injury workplace by maintaining a clean, organized environment using Lean manufacturing and 5S principles. Adhere to the company and customer safety standards, including monthly safety training and proper use of PPE.
Manage inventory levels to meet customer press schedules while aligning with company’s Days-on-Hand targets.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for ink weighing, dispensing, and blending to meet customer color and QC specifications.
Perform color matching and maintain accurate customer formulation files.
Develop and execute plans to utilize press returns and obsolete materials, ensuring proper documentation.
Coordinate work schedules and assignments for GTC personnel to maintain Ink-to-Press service while minimizing overtime costs.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot press and ink-related issues.
Document and communicate technical concerns to the company’s Technical Service Representatives.
Maintain an action register for customers and ink room process improvements.
Prepare and maintain accurate production and quality control records, including ink adjustments, press downtime, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Assist with Graphic Technician duties as needed.
Track Graphic Technician performance, approve ADP timecards, and recommend promotions and compensation adjustments for direct reports.
Required Qualification and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-5 years of relevant experience
